Jack Nicholson<\/strong><\/p>\n

A-lister Jack Nicholson is best known for starring roles in Oscar winning movies like One Flew Over the Cuckoo\u2019s Nest, Terms of Endearment and As Good as it Gets. But he\u2019s also known for his rock n\u2019 roll lifestyle, including a long term smoking habit. <\/p>\n

“It is not so much that you fear that moment when somebody comes in and says, ‘That’s it. You’re dead. You smoked too much,'” Nicholson told the LA TImes. “Well, that’s not the real fear. The real fear is going through now the process and thinking, ‘I’m dying of stupidity.'”<\/p>\n

But Nicholson is one celeb that proves it\u2019s never too late to give up and make the switch to vaping. Now in his 80\u2019s, the actor took up vaping in his mid 70\u2019s and has been spotted using his e-cigarette at multiple public events and appearances.<\/p>\n

Samuel L Jacksoon<\/strong><\/p>\n

The star of classic mob movies like Pulp Fiction took up smoking as far back as the 1960s. Jackson, who is also a regular star of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, struggled with various addictions <\/a>throughout his career, but smoking was one of the hardest to kick.<\/p>\n

He eventually found inspiration from an unusual source: TV\u2019s Judge Judy. \u201cI met Judy at Tony [Howard]’s house and we used to smoke together because I used to smoke,\u201d Jackson said on the call-in show \u201cWatch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen\u201d<\/em>. \u201cSo we used to sit in Tony’s backyard and smoke. And when Judy stopped smoking, she made me stop smoking\u201d.<\/p>\n

Today, Jackson regularly posts pictures of himself with a huge variety of different vapes. In a 2015 interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, Jackson pulled out his vape pen and demonstrated how to use it. He explained that he had quit smoking cigarettes and had turned to vaping instead. He even joked that he had started a “vape club” with fellow actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Bradley Cooper.<\/p>\n

The man who burst onto the scene as Jack Dawson in James Cameron\u2019s epic movie Titanic<\/em> is also well known in the vaping community as a pioneer. Di Caprio struggled for years to quit smoking, and was often pictured with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth in images that soon became the centre of headlines themselves.<\/p>\n

Di Caprio tried nicotine patches in one quit attempt, but told Parade that the experience gave him hellish nightmares.<\/p>\n

\u201cI usually don\u2019t [remember my dreams]\u201d he told Parade <\/em>magazine. \u201cBut when I used a nicotine patch when I was trying to quit smoking, I did have blood curdling nightmares of mass murders, and I woke up in the middle of the night and had to take the patches off.\u201d<\/p>\n

Di Caprio was first spotted vaping a large open system device back in 2015, and photos of him with a range of different vapes have surfaced in celebrity magazines ever since: he was once rebuked by the American Lung Association for vaping at the Screen Actors Guild awards. <\/p>\n

But, in an article about the ALA\u2019s Comments, UK counterparts the British Lung Foundation were more understanding<\/a>, saying \u201cWe support vaping as a means of helping people quit the far most harmful practice of smoking if they\u2019ve tried other means and haven\u2019t been successful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tom Hardy<\/strong><\/p>\n

British superstar Tom Hardy, best known for playing historical crime lords including Reggie Kray and Charles Bronson on the big screen, is another who made the switch to vaping after numerous quit attempts. <\/p>\n

According to the Daily Mail<\/a>, Hardy even tried a visit to \u201chypnotherapist to the stars\u201d Max Kirstento to try and get off the smokes, but it seems that vaping was the route that finally worked for him.<\/p>\n

Hardy seems to be a fan or larger format vapes: he has often been pictured<\/a> with box-mod models both on set and in social settings.<\/p>\n
