Vicky Pattison has revealed that her vape has become a Strictly Come Dancing \u201ctraining essential.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The TV personality, 37, who is paired with professional dancer Kai Widdrington on this year\u2019s BBC show, opened up about her routine on her \u2018Get A Grip\u2019 podcast. She said she turns to her vape to take the edge off the long, demanding days in training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGiving up things is really hard,\u201d she said. \u201cI can\u2019t remember the specific turning point. Last week\u2026 it\u2019s always emotions with me. Like, I know I\u2019m doing that\u2026 I\u2019m craving relaxation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn a world where I can\u2019t cultivate it naturally because my schedule\u2019s a bit unrelenting, I\u2019m doing it synthetically. I was about five, six days in, but then it all unravelled. So I\u2019m back vaping. I\u2019m not proud of it, but it\u2019s who I am. I am a vapist!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Later, Vicky shared an update on Instagram, posting a photo of her \u201ctraining essentials\u201d – with her vape taking pride of place among them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her candid admission comes as Strictly rehearsals ramp up for the celebrity contestants, with Pattison describing the process as both exhilarating and intimidating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2019re with the tiny professional female dancers carved by angels \u2013 they\u2019re the most beautiful creatures – and you\u2019re standing there like a little pudding in your gym kit,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd that\u2019s before you start dancing and realise how inept you are. I was in a state of shock.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The former Geordie Shore star has long credited visualisation for helping her achieve her ambitions. Two years ago, she revealed she made a vision board featuring a picture of 2017 Strictly contestant Gemma Atkinson – with her own face stuck on top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI feel like a proper creep,\u201d she laughed. \u201cBut I love a bit of manifestation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That approach seems to have paid off. Over the past few years, Pattison has ticked off a string of personal and professional goals, from hosting radio shows and making documentaries to finding love and settling down with her dogs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now, she\u2019s taking on Strictly with her trademark humour and openness \u2013 vape in hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
