Katie Price vapes on stage as Pride crowd weighs in on Lee Andrews drama

Katie Price put vaping in the spotlight during a lively Pride appearance in Canterbury, where she sang, joked with the crowd and asked fans whether she should stay with husband Lee Andrews after her return from Dubai.

The former glamour model, 48, had flown back to the UK after a difficult week involving her husband, who is reportedly being held in Al Awir Central Prison in Dubai over fraud allegations.

But by Saturday night, Price was back in front of an audience, performing at a Pride event in Canterbury in scenes shared online by Drag Race star Courtney Act and members of the crowd.

Footage showed Price singing Finally by CeCe Peniston as fans waved glow sticks, danced and chanted her name. Courtney Act, who posted clips from the night, wrote: “I mean this with sincerity – she was brilliant.”

In another clip, Price was seen taking a puff from a vape before appearing to lose track of the set list.

“I don’t even know what the next song is. I’m not professional singer, but just join along. What’s the next song?” she told the audience.

As the next track began, she added: “Oh, it’s a ballad. What the f***?”

Vaping part of the celebrity moment

The appearance quickly became another tabloid talking point, partly because Price was seen vaping on stage.

For many former or current smokers, vapes are part of the shift away from cigarettes, even as public health bodies continue to stress that they are not risk-free and should not be used by children or people who have never smoked.

Price has previously spoken publicly about vaping, including on her podcast, where she said she wanted to stop. “I am going to stop it because I don’t know why I do it,” she said. “It’s this new social thing where everyone vapes.”

She added: “Do you know what it is, they smell nice.”

Price also said: “I like the way it just comes out, if you take it in and swirl your tongue around you really get the taste.”

It’s not the first time Price’s vaping has drawn attention. In November 2024, she was photographed using a fruity vape on a Southern train to Haywards Heath, despite many public transport operators having rules against vaping on board.

Crowd asked: leave Lee or stay?

The Canterbury Pride appearance also came after a turbulent few days in Price’s relationship with Andrews. In another video shared by an audience member on TikTok, Price told the crowd she had visited a prison to “find Lee.”

“I want to hear it from you guys, do I leave Lee or stay with him?” she asked.

The crowd cheered when she asked whether she should leave him. When she followed up with: “Do I stay with Lee?” the response was reportedly boos.

The public back-and-forth came after Price returned from Dubai without her wedding ring, having reportedly met Andrews’ ex-partner Dina. She later appeared to confirm the relationship was still on by sharing a photo of her wedding finger with her ring visible.

“I love @wesleeandrews,” she wrote.

Stress after Dubai trip

Price has also told followers she has been struggling with stress and weight loss.

“I’m so stressed at the minute. Look, I’m just losing weight. I actually look like a skeletal, look at that thigh,” she said in a video, gesturing to her thigh.

“Life in general is stressed, but I’m good. What I mean is I’m good in everything, but obviously it takes a toll on your body, because my adrenaline’s like…that’s what it is, it’s the adrenaline pumping.”
