Youth vaping ‘highly unlikely’ to be major source of premature death, new study finds
New modelling of more than four million young Americans suggests adolescent vaping is highly unlikely to become a major cause of premature death. Even under the study’s most pessimistic main scenario, the average projected impact was equivalent to around 31 days of life lost, while smoking carried a far greater lifetime risk.
