The Food and Drug Administration has proposed a rule to limit nicotine in cigarettes to non-addictive levels six years after it first said it intended to do so and five days before President Biden leaves office.
The new legislation, announced by the Ministry of Health, means the “manufacture, sale, supply, and distribution of disposable vapes” will be banned from June 2025.
In the remaining three studies, vapes were found to be equally as effective as other methods or no treatment - and no studies concluded they were less successful.
